6 & 7 June, 2026 • 10am-5pm Saturday and 11am-5pm Sunday
Unity Church Unitarian, 733 Portland Ave, St Paul, MN 55104
This 2-day Nonviolent Communication intensive is an intimate and immersive learning, practice, and feedback for intermediate and advanced Nonviolent Communication practitioners, with specific support for people exploring a path toward becoming a CNVC Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Communication. As a guideline, we imagine participants having at least 10 days (60 hours) of Nonviolent Communication training.
The focus of the gathering is to deepen our capacity to embody, understand, and share the essential principles and practices underlying Nonviolent Communication. The weekend will include opportunities for deepening integration and feedback on our practice of:
Self-Empathy
Empathic Listening
Authentic Expression
Conscious Dialogue
Mediation
Supporting Life-Enriching Projects and Systems in the World
Role-Plays
Giving and Receiving Feedback

Financial Contribution
The Living Wholeness Intensive is offered and supported in the spirit of what Marshall Rosenberg called “natural giving,” such that there are no fixed fees. At the same time, everyone is invited into co-holding each other's well-being, including the well-being of those organizing and hosting.
To keep costs for the weekend intensives as flexible and accessible as possible, we seek venues which are offered on a donation basis, and invite participants to organize their own food and lodging for the weekend. For people coming from out of town, there may be opportunities to arrange a homestay with someone local, or people are welcome to organize their own accommodation.
To support organizing and facilitating the weekend, we invite contributions informed by a tiered sliding scale designed to reflect differences in access to resources.
Tier 1: Lower-income: $125-$250
Tier 2: Middle-income: $250-$450
Tier 3: Higher-income: $450-$700
We invite people to choose the tier and contribution level that best reflects your overall financial reality, including income, savings, and access to support. If you are able to contribute toward the higher end of your range, this helps support broader access and the long-term sustainability of the work. The lower end of each range is intended for those with genuine financial constraints. If you are not able to contribute within the available ranges, we ask that you reach out for a conversation so we can find a workable arrangement.
Food & Drinks
Please bring your own lunch or enjoy one of the restaurants nearby. Tea and snacks will be provided.
“The ultimate goal in life is to become the truest expression of ourselves, to live into authentic selfhood, to honor our birthright gifts and callings, and be of service to humanity and our world.”
We would love to have you join us!
